Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 80 g bacon lardons or diced chicken
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Grated cheese (optional)
- A few tomato slices (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes.
- Cut them into small cubes.
- Rinse the potato cubes under cold water.
- Pat them dry with paper towels.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- Add the potatoes.
- Cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes.
- Add the bacon lardons or diced chicken.
- Stir regularly.
- Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Once the potatoes are golden, season with salt and black pepper.
- Add grated cheese if desired.
- Allow the cheese to melt slightly.
- Serve immediately.
