  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 mixing bowl or serving bowl
  • 1 knife
  • 1 colander

Ingredients

  • 120 g rice
  • 1 can of tuna
  • ½ tomato
  • A few cucumber slices
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or vinaigrette
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in a saucepan of salted water.
  2. Cook according to the package instructions.
  3. Drain the rice.
  4. Let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Drain the tuna.
  6. Dice the tomato into small pieces.
  7. Cut the cucumber into small pieces.
  8. Place the rice in a serving bowl.
  9. Add the tuna.
  10. Add the tomato.
  11. Add the cucumber.
  12. Add the mayonnaise or vinaigrette.
  13. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  14. Gently toss everything together.
  15. Serve chilled.

Add sweetcorn or olives for extra flavor and texture.
