Equipment

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 knife
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 slices of ham or cooked chicken
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes.
  2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  3. Cook them in salted boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Drain and let them cool.
  5. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes.
  6. Cool them in cold water.
  7. Peel the eggs.
  8. Chop the eggs into small pieces.
  9. Dice the ham or cooked chicken.
  10. Dice the tomato.
  11. Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl.
  12. Add the eggs, ham or chicken, and tomato.
  13. Add the mayonnaise.
  14. Season with salt and black pepper.
  15. Mix gently.
  16. Wash the lettuce leaves.
  17. Spoon a portion of the Piémontaise salad onto each lettuce leaf.
  18. Roll the lettuce leaves carefully.
  19. Serve immediately.

Chef's Tip

Add a few chopped pickles for extra flavor and crunch.
